2 Peter 3:2 "I want you to remember WHAT THE HOLY PROPHETS SAID LONG AGO AND WHAT OUR LORD AND SAVIOR COMMANDED THROUGH YOUR APOSTLES."
The Holy Prophets were people sent by the Lord before He came to live as Jesus Christ in human flesh. Their every message included News of Jesus Christ's coming to the world and God's Judgment.
God also sent prophets with messages meant as instructions or warnings for the greater good in the interest of the Kingdom of God.
These messages were not for selfish personal gains, like money or fame.
For example:
Judges 6:7-10 “When they cried out to the Lord because of Midian, the Lord sent a prophet to the Israelites. He said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I brought you up out of slavery in Egypt. I rescued you from the Egyptians and from all who oppressed you. I drove out your enemies and gave you their land. I told you, ‘I am the Lord your God. You must not worship the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you now live.’ But you have not listened to me.”
2 Samuel 24: 11-12 “The next morning the word of the Lord came to the prophet Gad, who was David’s seer. This was the message: “Go and say to David, ‘This is what the Lord says: I will give you three choices. Choose one of these punishments, and I will inflict it on you.’”
1 Kings 16:1-4 “This message from the Lord was delivered to King Baasha by the prophet Jehu son of Hanani: “I lifted you out of the dust to make you ruler of my people Israel, but you have followed the evil example of Jeroboam. You have provoked my anger by causing my people Israel to sin. So now I will destroy you and your family, just as I destroyed the descendants of Jeroboam son of Nebat. The members of Baasha’s family who die in the city will be eaten by dogs, and those who die in the field will be eaten by vultures.”
Whenever God's appointed prophets disobeyed His instructions, they were punished (1 Kings 13).
Numbers 12:6-8
"And the Lord said to them, “Now listen to what I say:
“If there were prophets among you, I, the Lord, would reveal myself in visions. I would speak to them in dreams. But not with my servant Moses. Of all my house, he is the one I trust. I speak to him face to face, clearly, and not in riddles! He sees the Lord as he is. So why were you not afraid to criticize my servant Moses?”
Deuteronomy 34:10 “There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face.”
Once Jesus was born in human flesh, the last of these prophets came to Him to pay their respects before their deaths.
Luke 2:25-40 The Prophecy of Simeon "At that time there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon. He was righteous and devout and was eagerly waiting for the Messiah to come and rescue Israel. The Holy Spirit was upon him and had revealed to him that he would not die until he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. That day the Spirit led him to the Temple. So when Mary and Joseph came to present the baby Jesus to the Lord as the law required, Simeon was there. He took the child in his arms and praised God, saying, “Sovereign Lord, now let your servant die in peace, as you have promised. I have seen your salvation, which you have prepared for all people. He is a light to reveal God to the nations, and he is the glory of your people Israel!” Jesus’ parents were amazed at what was being said about him. Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, the baby’s mother, “This child is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, and many others to rise. He has been sent as a sign from God, but many will oppose him. As a result, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul.” The Prophecy of Anna Anna, a prophet, was also there in the Temple. She was the daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher, and she was very old. Her husband died when they had been married only seven years. Then she lived as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer. She came along just as Simeon was talking with Mary and Joseph, and she began praising God. She talked about the child to everyone who had been waiting expectantly for God to rescue Jerusalem. When Jesus’ parents had fulfilled all the requirements of the law of the Lord, they returned home to Nazareth in Galilee. There the child grew up healthy and strong. He was filled with wisdom, and God’s favor was on him."
After that, we have Apostles and Disciples, who were taught by Jesus Christ and later also received His Holy Spirit, who was teaching them. Some of them were still called "prophets" because they were prophesying. Some were also given visions, like Peter the Apostle, who received a vision about all animals being clean and approved to be consumed (Acts 10) by those with Faith in Jesus Christ.
This and all other prophesies were given and recorded in the Word of God to be taught by "prophesying." There is no need for these visions to take place again.
Luke 16:27-31
“Then the rich man said, ‘Please, Father Abraham, at least send him to my father’s home. For I have five brothers, and I want him to warn them so they don’t end up in this place of torment.’
“But Abraham said, ‘Moses and the prophets have warned them. YOUR BROTHERS CAN READ WHAT THEY WROTE."
“The rich man replied, ‘No, Father Abraham! But if someone is sent to them from the dead, then they will repent of their sins and turn to God.’
“But Abraham said, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”
The Prophesying
Revelation 19:10 "Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said, “No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters who testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship only God. For THE ESSENCE OF PROPHECY IS TO GIVE A CLEAR WITNESS FOR JESUS."
If the prophecy doesn't include the Good News of Jesus Christ, it's not prophecy at all!
Acts 15:32 "Then Judas and Silas, both being prophets, spoke at length to the believers, encouraging and strengthening their faith."
They did not speak of anything new but preached the Word of God, making new disciples as Jesus Christ commanded them. They spoke of the same prophecies already given.
When disciples go to preach the Good News to people who never heard of Jesus Christ, they are "prophets" to these people because it's all "new" to them.
When they believe the message given to them, they themselves become disciples and pass the message of Good News to others. This is how the message spreads throughout the world.
It is the SAME message of the Good News of Jesus Christ and the Salvation He offers to those who put their Faith in Him.
The last one that people suspected to be an "ancient prophet" (in a way of telling something "new/never heard before") was John the Baptist. However, Jesus makes it clear that John was His messenger, who was greater than a prophet.
John, the Baptist Matthew 11:7-14 "As John’s disciples were leaving, Jesus began talking about him to the crowds. “What kind of man did you go into the wilderness to see? Was he a weak reed, swayed by every breath of wind? Or were you expecting to see a man dressed in expensive clothes? No, people with expensive clothes live in palaces. Were you looking for a prophet? Yes, and he is more than a prophet. John is the man to whom the Scriptures refer when they say, ‘Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way before you.’ “I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is! And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people are attacking it. For before John came, all the prophets and the law of Moses looked forward to this present time. And if you are willing to accept what I say, he is Elijah, the one the prophets said would come."
Matthew 14:5-10 "Herod wanted to kill John, but he was afraid of a riot, because all the people believed John was a prophet. But at a birthday party for Herod, Herodias’s daughter performed a dance that greatly pleased him, so he promised with a vow to give her anything she wanted. At her mother’s urging, the girl said, “I want the head of John the Baptist on a tray!” Then the king regretted what he had said; but because of the vow he had made in front of his guests, he issued the necessary orders. So John was beheaded in the prison."
Matthew 17:12 "But I tell you, Elijah has already come, but he wasn’t recognized, and they chose to abuse him. And in the same way they will also make the Son of Man suffer.”
All prophets had the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ speaking through them; that's why it says that he already came and will come at the same time; none of them is recognized, and all of them suffer; as it was with Jesus Christ in flesh
John, the Apostle, received the vision described in the Book of Revelation 1:1-2 "This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him TO SHOW HIS SERVANTS the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation to his servant John, who faithfully reported everything he saw. This is his report of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ."
John 16:13 "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future."
2 Peter 1:16-21
"For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the powerful coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We saw his majestic splendor with our own eyes when he received honor and glory from God the Father. The voice from the majestic glory of God said to him, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” We ourselves heard that voice from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain."
Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the MESSAGE PROCLAIMED BY THE PROPHETS. You must pay close attention TO WHAT THEY WROTE, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts. Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets WERE MOVED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, and they spoke from God."
Hebrews 1:1-2 "Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe."
The Difference Between
Prophets and Apostles/Disciples
Prophets told of their visions, but Disciples and Apostles explain them by preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ to all.
Prophets did not understand their visions. They were called to convey a message and obey the instructions by having Faith in the coming Messiah and salvation. They were messengers.
1 Peter 1:10-12
“This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you. They wondered what time or situation the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when he told them in advance about Christ’s suffering and his great glory afterward.
They were told that their messages were not for themselves, but for you. And now this Good News has been announced to you by those who preached in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.”
Matthew 13:17 "I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it."
Daniel 12:8-13
“I heard what he said, but I did not understand what he meant. So I asked, “How will all this finally end, my lord?”
But he said, “Go now, Daniel, for what I have said is KEPT SECRET and sealed UNTIL THE END OF TIME. Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means.
“From the time the daily sacrifice is stopped and the sacrilegious object that causes desecration is set up to be worshiped, there will be 1,290 days. And blessed are those who wait and remain until the end of the 1,335 days!
“As for you, go your way until the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days, you will rise again to receive the inheritance set aside for you.”
"The Secret" was God's Eternal Plan of Salvation.
The way to Salvation was first given to Jews, but MOST rejected it. Therefore God sent Paul to preach to Gentiles, who accepted it. However, this was planned before God created the world.
Romans 11:25
“I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ.”
That’s because the descendants of Abraham are not “blood-related” but “spirit related.” They all join with the Holy Spirit through REPENTANCE and become ONE TEMPLE OF GOD. But it doesn’t matter if a person is a Jew or Gentile. It’s FAITH-BASED.
Romans 9:6–7 “Well then, has God failed to fulfill his promise to Israel? No, for not all who are born into the nation of Israel are truly members of God’s people! Being descendants of Abraham doesn’t make them truly Abraham’s children. For the Scriptures say, “Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted,” though Abraham had other children, too.”
The Apostle Paul EXPLAINED;
Ephesians 3:6–7
“AND THIS IS GOD'S PLAN: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus. By God’s grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him BY SPREADING THIS GOOD NEWS."
Romans 9:30–33
“What does all this mean? Even though the Gentiles were not trying to follow God’s standards, they were made right with God. And it was BY FAITH that this took place. But the people of Israel, who tried so hard to get right with God by keeping the law, never succeeded. Why not? Because they were trying to get right with God by keeping the law instead of by trusting in him. They stumbled over the great rock in their path. God warned them of this in the Scriptures when he said,
“I am placing a stone in Jerusalem that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. But anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”
The Rock that makes them stumble is JESUS CHRIST. They refuse to put their Faith and trust in Him. Instead, they trust their abilities by keeping the law, which can never be kept unless a person REPENTS by having Faith in Jesus Christ and by receiving His Holy Spirit. This is being BORN AGAIN. The proof of having the Holy Spirit shows through the miraculous signs. The same signs Jesus had done; He is the one doing them through those He calls by joining with His Holy Spirit.
Romans 11:11–12 “Did God’s people stumble and fall beyond recovery? Of course not! They were disobedient, so God made salvation available to the Gentiles. But he wanted his own people to become jealous and claim it for themselves. Now if the Gentiles were enriched because the people of Israel turned down God’s offer of salvation, think how much greater a blessing the world will share when they finally accept it.”
God still speaks through His disciples today
Again, Disciples are people who put their faith in Jesus Christ and are called to receive the Holy Spirit. It is proven by the same works Jesus Christ had done and the spreading of the Good News, making more disciples (building the spiritual Temple of God)
They will not come up with anything other than what things are taught within the Word of God. Anyone who claims to be a prophet and tells of things contradictory to God's words are FALSE PROPHETS. They say things like;
Jesus Christ did not come in a real human body
Jesus Christ was not the Son of God
Jesus Christ was not God
Replace the name of Jesus Christ with other names or variations claiming to be "more correct."
Teach to obey the Law of Moses rather than have faith in Jesus Christ.
The "rapture" already happened
Call themselves "Jesus Christ"
Permit committing sin, and don't guide towards Repentance
and other Falsehoods
1 Corinthians 14:36-38 "Or do you think God’s word originated with you Corinthians? Are you the only ones to whom it was given? If you claim to be a prophet or think you are spiritual, you should recognize that what I am saying is a command from the Lord himself. But if you do not recognize this, you yourself will not be recognized."
John 14:15-21 “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you."
"he lives with you now" = it's Jesus Christ who was saying these words, and later be in you = the Holy Spirit = His Spirit.
No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I AM IN YOU. Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal MYSELF to each of them.” 1 Timothy 1:18 "Timothy, my son, here are my instructions for you, based on the PROPHETIC WORDS spoken about you earlier. May they help you fight well in the Lord’s battles."
THE PROPHETIC WORDS are the reminders of what was told to ancient prophets ;
Romans 9:27 "And concerning Israel, Isaiah the prophet cried out, “Though the people of Israel are as numerous as the sand of the seashore, only a remnant will be saved."
James 5:10 "For examples of patience in suffering, dear brothers and sisters, look at the prophets who SPOKE in the name of the Lord." (past tense)
John 1:23 "John replied in the words of the prophet Isaiah: “I am a voice shouting in the wilderness, ‘Clear the way for the Lord’s coming!’”
Acts 2:16-17 "No, what you see was predicted long ago by the prophet Joel: ‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams."
The "last days" began with the human birth of Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 9:26
"If that had been necessary, Christ would have had to die again and again, ever since the world began. But now, once for all time, he has appeared at the end of the age to remove sin by his own death as a sacrifice."
Ephesians 4:11 "Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers." When it is said that someone is "prophesying" or has "the gift of a prophecy," they are telling of the same prophecies, explaining their meaning. In this time and age, they will speak of the second coming and eternal judgment. Evangelists, pastors, and teachers; all three groups should have the ability to "prophecy" if they have the Holy Spirit within them because none of these roles can be fulfilled without speaking of prophecy and explaining its meaning without "contradictions."
All three groups are preachers, but it's done in different settings.
Evangelist; a person who seeks to convert others to the Christian faith, especially by public preaching. Pastor; a minister in charge of a Christian church or congregation. Teacher; is a person who teaches the Word of God and explains its meaning.
(Not every evangelist, pastor, and teacher is genuine; those without the Holy Spirit do it without God's Authority) There are other roles included in the body of Christ that do not receive the gift of prophecy but have other gifts of the Spirit:
singers who sing to the Lord and lead others in praise,
healers
those who perform miracles
those who speak in tongues
and those who interpret what is spoken
those who help by supporting teachers, pastors, evangelists, and others; they help in any way they can, most of the time financially (it may seem like a small role, but it's equally important)
Acts 6:2-4
“So the Twelve called a meeting of all the believers. They said, “We apostles should spend our time teaching the word of God, not running a food program. And so, brothers, select seven men who are well respected and are full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will give them this responsibility. Then we apostles can spend our time in prayer and teaching the word.”
Galatians 6:6 "Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them."
1 Corinthians 12:14-23 "Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part. If the foot says, “I am not a part of the body because I am not a hand,” that does not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the body? If the whole body were an eye, how would you hear? Or if your whole body were an ear, how would you smell anything? But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it. How strange a body would be if it had only one part! Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.” In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary. And the parts we regard as less honorable are those we clothe with the greatest care. So we carefully protect those parts that should not be seen."
1 Corinthians 12:29–31 “Are we all apostles? Are we all prophets? Are we all teachers? Do we all have the power to do miracles? Do we all have the gift of healing? Do we all have the ability to speak in unknown languages? Do we all have the ability to interpret unknown languages? Of course not! So you should earnestly desire the most helpful gifts. But now let me show you a way of life that is best of all.”
James 2:14-20 "What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?
This post was prompted by the question I received on Quora; "Have you ever received a prophecy (That you know was from God), and it came true exactly as the person said it would? (Also explain how you know it was a genuine prophecy from God)" There are so many things wrong with this question, but because I already exposed his falsehood there, I'll keep his name off this post (I don't want anyone going after him), but I will certainly quote him because there are many like him and I want you to know what to look out for. Before I answered his question, I went on his profile to see what he was about.
1 John 4:1 "Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world."
This is what I found: Since my response (on Thursday; if you keep attention to details), he updated his profile to "evangelist" and deleted all evidence where he asks others, "How do you know when God speaks to you? Is it auditory or other signs?" But it doesn't really matter since his "story" is still up (screenshot taken next Monday), and the question he asked points to the same doubt, as well as the content of the "prophecy he received;"

My response: "I’ve read your story about what you believe to be a prophecy when you say the Lord moved you to go and speak to someone about their financial trouble. Many situations are presented in the Bible where God uses people to convey a message. The first, that came to my mind was Balaam and his donkey. God used Balaam to turn king Balak’s curse into a blessing for Israel, even though, he tried resisting the Lord (it’s when he beat his donkey and it rebuked him with a human voice). Then the Angel of the Lord appeared, and he had no choice, just like the donkey had no choice when it spoke. Balaam certainly was not a child of God. Please read the entire story. Numbers 22:38 “Balaam replied, “Look, now I have come, but I have no power to say whatever I want. I will speak only the message that God puts in my mouth.” When it comes to prophecy, it is meant to strengthen the ENTIRE church, not just convey a message, especially not when it comes to money. I’m not saying your message wasn’t legit or that the Spirit did not move you to do it (I’m not saying that I believe it either); it just doesn’t fall into the category of prophesying; let me explain and then I will answer your question. 1 Corinthians 14:3-5 “But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them. A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally, but one who speaks A WORD of prophecy strengthens the entire church. I wish you could all speak in tongues, but even more I wish you could all prophesy. For prophecy is greater than speaking in tongues, unless someone interprets what you are saying so that the whole church will be strengthened.” 1 Corinthians 14:24–25 “But if all of you are prophesying, and unbelievers or people who don’t understand these things come into your meeting, they will be convicted of sin and judged by what you say. As they listen, their secret thoughts will be exposed, and they will fall to their knees and worship God, declaring, “God is truly here among you.” For example:
Numbers 11:25–29 “And the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke to Moses. Then he gave the seventy elders the same Spirit that was upon Moses. And when the Spirit rested upon them, they prophesied. But this never happened again. Two men, Eldad and Medad, had stayed behind in the camp. They were listed among the elders, but they had not gone out to the Tabernacle. Yet the Spirit rested upon them as well, so they prophesied there in the camp. A young man ran and reported to Moses, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp!” Joshua son of Nun, who had been Moses’ assistant since his youth, protested, “Moses, my master, make them stop!” But Moses replied, “Are you jealous for my sake? I WISH that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put his Spirit upon them all!” Then Moses returned to the camp with the elders of Israel.”
So not only it was a one-time event, Joshua son of Nun was convinced of his sin, he clearly freaked out and those who prophesied did not have to convince anyone of their prophesying. When Moses said “I Wish” everyone could do it, means not everyone ever will. We have different gifts.
Your story doesn’t mention; the reaction of a person that you helped financially; no sign of them being convinced of their sin and no sign of repentance, or faith. It doesn’t mention you telling that person about the Good News of Jesus Christ. It was only a monetary benefit to one person. It also doesn’t mention what that money was used for.
1 Peter 1:10–11 “This salvation was something even the prophets wanted to know more about when they prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you. They wondered what time or situation the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when he told them in advance about Christ’s suffering and his great glory afterward.”
Your profile doesn’t mention you received the Holy Spirit and how it happened (because it did not happen; answer ahead)
There is a problem with the question you requested.
You are asking about stories that you cannot discern on your own. For example; anyone can say “I predicted last month that it would rain last week, and it did; my prophecy came true!” Is that “prophecy” credible? It’s nothing but a brag that cannot be observed, there’s no witness. Deuteronomy 18:20–22 “But any prophet who falsely claims to speak in my name or who speaks in the name of another god must die.’ “But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a prophecy is from the Lord?’ If the prophet speaks in the Lord’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the Lord did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared.” This was an INSTRUCTION for discernment (which was given before the birth of Jesus Christ!); it was FOR PEOPLE TO OBSERVE and decide for themselves whether it is true or false; they are the ones who are the witness of told prophecy and the witness of its fulfillment. It was to test their faith; to see if they recognize God’s voice (meaning; the Spirit that speaks through those prophets). Faith cannot be told or learned. Your telling your story takes away that discernment. Asking people about sharing such stories spreads your error (they may even be enticed to complete with you). I cannot tell if your story was true or false, to me, it’s just a story. I don’t see how it helps anyone who reads it. My gift is wisdom and knowledge; Teaching the Word of God and explaining its meaning, which is clearly what I’m doing here. Those who have faith are already convinced; I don’t need to make my case. I have been praying for those gifts my entire life, ever since I realized that praying to idols (the painting of “Jesus and Mary;” you don’t seem to mind imagery 🚩) as my deceived narcissistic mother taught me; didn’t work (before I even started kindergarten). It’s NOT my own understanding and knowledge, but the Holy Spirit who speaks through me. I have also healed the sickness by laying on my hands and letting the Holy Spirit do the healing. I take no credit for it. It's the Power of God whom I serve.
Matthew 23:8–12 “Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters. And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your Father. And don’t let anyone call you ‘Teacher,’ for you have only ONE TEACHER, the Messiah. The greatest among you must be a servant. But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” 1 John 2:27 "But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ." 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 “But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means. Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others. For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.” I have had many prophetic dreams. None of them came true yet because they were about Tribulation, Judgment Day, and my function in the world post-Judgment Day. They started in my early childhood, and I didn’t understand them until I received the Holy Spirit. Is there a point in telling these dreams in detail? No. It all has already been written in the Bible prophecy. My dreams only reflected what was told to prophets, and it was as horrifying as it’s described. Every detail of what I saw is still ingrained in my memory. If I told those dreams, I would feel like I’m trying to gain the admiration of people for myself, so I stay away from doing it. In fact, I do not care what they say.
Galatians 1:10 “Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.”
When Paul received a secret revelation, he was tempted to tell everyone (2 Corinthians 12:1-10), and if he did, he would gain people’s admiration and fame, so God gave him a thorn in his flesh to keep him from doing that. I would not want such a thorn. It’s not something people can observe, either.
Therefore, I only use the Word of God to warn others about what will happen if they don’t repent on time (I also instruct how to repent because I have gone through it, and I want others to go through it). So in a way, I am prophesying by using and explaining the prophecy already given by God. Remember, we all have ONE teacher, the same teacher who spoke through the holy prophets is speaking through me. To summarize, be careful.
Proverbs 19:2 “Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes.”
Jeremiah 23:9–40 Judgment on False Prophets “My heart is broken because of the false prophets, and my bones tremble. I stagger like a drunkard, like someone overcome by wine, because of the holy words the Lord has spoken against them. For the land is full of adultery, and it lies under a curse. The land itself is in mourning—its wilderness pastures are dried up. For they all do evil and abuse what power they have. “Even the priests and prophets are ungodly, wicked men. I have seen their despicable acts right here in my own Temple,” says the Lord. “Therefore, the paths they take will become slippery. They will be chased through the dark, and there they will fall. For I will bring disaster upon them at the time fixed for their punishment. I, the Lord, have spoken! “I saw that the prophets of Samaria were terribly evil, for they prophesied in the name of Baal and led my people of Israel into sin. But now I see that the prophets of Jerusalem are even worse! They commit adultery and love dishonesty. They encourage those who are doing evil so that no one turns away from their sins. These prophets are as wicked as the people of Sodom and Gomorrah once were.” Therefore, this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says concerning the prophets: “I will feed them with bitterness and give them poison to drink. For it is because of Jerusalem’s prophets that wickedness has filled this land.” This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says to his people: “Do not listen to these prophets when they prophesy to you, filling you with futile hopes. They are making up everything they say. They do not speak for the Lord! They keep saying to those who despise my word, ‘Don’t worry! The Lord says you will have peace!’ And to those who stubbornly follow their own desires, they say, ‘No harm will come your way!’ “Have any of these prophets been in the Lord’s presence to hear what he is really saying? Has even one of them cared enough to listen? Look! The Lord’s anger bursts out like a storm, a whirlwind that swirls down on the heads of the wicked. The anger of the Lord will not diminish until it has finished all he has planned. In the days to come you will understand all this very clearly. “I have not sent these prophets, yet they run around claiming to speak for me. I HAVE GIVEN THEM NO MESSAGE, yet they go on prophesying. If they had stood before me and listened to me, THEY WOULD HAVE SPOKEN MY WORDS, and they would have turned my people from their evil ways and deeds. Am I a God who is only close at hand?” says the Lord. “No, I am far away at the same time. Can anyone hide from me in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?” says the Lord. “I have heard these prophets say, ‘Listen to the dream I had from God last night.’

And then they proceed to tell lies in my name. How long will this go on? If they are prophets, they are prophets of deceit, inventing everything they say. By telling these false dreams, they are trying to get my people to forget me, just as their ancestors did by worshiping the idols of Baal. “Let these false prophets tell their dreams, but LET MY TRUE MESSENGERS FAITHFULLY PROCLAIM MY EVERY WORD. There is a difference between straw and grain! Does not MY WORD burn like fire?” says the Lord. “Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes a rock to pieces? “Therefore,” says the Lord, “I am against these prophets who steal messages from each other and claim they are from me. I am against these smooth-tongued prophets who say, ‘This prophecy is from the Lord!’ I am against these false prophets. Their imaginary dreams are flagrant lies that lead my people into sin. I did not send or appoint them, and they have no message at all for my people. I, the Lord, have spoken! False Prophecies and False Prophets “Suppose one of the people or one of the prophets or priests asks you, ‘What prophecy has the Lord burdened you with now?’ You must reply, ‘You are the burden! The Lord says he will abandon you!’ “If any prophet, priest, or anyone else says, ‘I have a prophecy from the Lord,’ I will punish that person along with his entire family. You should keep asking each other, ‘What is the Lord’s answer?’ or ‘What is the Lord saying?’ But stop using this phrase, ‘prophecy from the Lord.’ For people are using it to give authority to their own ideas, turning upside down the words of our God, the living God, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “This is what you should say to the prophets: ‘What is the Lord’s answer?’ or ‘What is the Lord saying?’ But suppose they respond, ‘This is a prophecy from the Lord!’ Then you should say, ‘This is what the Lord says: Because you have used this phrase, “prophecy from the Lord,” even though I warned you not to use it, I will forget you completely. I will expel you from my presence, along with this city that I gave to you and your ancestors. And I will make you an object of ridicule, and your name will be infamous throughout the ages.’”

Acts 17:11 “And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth.”
all the messages Paul was giving were already in the Bible. It was nothing new.
John 1:1 “In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
2 Corinthians 11:4-6
"You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed. But I don’t consider myself inferior in any way to these “super apostles” who teach such things. I may be UNSKILLED AS A SPEAKER, but I’m not lacking in knowledge. We have made this clear to you in every possible way."
God made him an “unskilled speaker,” so he wouldn’t be blabbering anything other than what’s in the Word of God. I am also an unskilled speaker, and some think I have nothing “on my own” to say, making it an argument against my ministry, which is the very design of a true ministry. Most are drawn to false teachers who speak “whatever their itching ears what to hear” (2 Timothy 4:3), so-called “charismatic;” who always have something new or contradictory to say. Or those who constantly boast how many years they have studied the Bible; does it matter if they do it living in darkness and with no understanding that comes from the Holy Spirit? It's useless!
Acts 8:29-31 "The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and walk along beside the carriage.” Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” The man replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him."
Isaiah 55:10-11
“The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with MY WORD. I SEND IT OUT, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”
2 Corinthians 13:7-8
"We pray to God that you will not do what is wrong by refusing our CORRECTION. I hope we won’t need to demonstrate our authority when we arrive. Do the right thing before we come—even if that makes it look like we have failed to demonstrate our authority. For we cannot oppose the truth, but must always stand for the truth."
Psalm 119:89
“Your ETERNAL WORD, O Lord, stands FIRM in heaven.”
ABBA FATHER! 🙌 That was the end of my response to him.
Seems like the correction wasn't received, and he never made any comments. Someone else gave him the correct answer, but without much explanation, so he jumped into debate using Bible verses:

Except, he never had any prophecy! He has no idea what he is doing. Total darkness.
He also mentions having angelic visitations on his profile, but no details;

Can it be any vaguer? Oh well. The warning was issued.
Jeremiah 14:14
"Then the Lord said, “These prophets are telling lies in my name. I did not send them or tell them to speak. I did not give them any messages. They prophesy of visions and revelations they have never seen or heard. They speak foolishness made up in their own lying hearts."
Another example:

She never replied. Definitely not "a Truther." 🤡 1 John 4:2 "This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God." And another "twin flame."
That one deleted my comments and blocked me, without any response, so I don't bother covering her; whoever she is, none of her info is real, so I'll give my comments here.

So if you change your perspective about a sinner, he's suddenly righteous? Without repentance?! How foolish.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
"These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve."
I ached after reading her nonsense (and a nickname!). In my comment, I called her out on removing the WORDS OF GOD. Please double-check what people post. Just because there's a Bible reference doesn't mean it's complete. Do your homework!
Complete verse:
John 8:12
"Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
I asked her who her "inner god" is (or is she calling herself god?) since she's ashamed of the name of Jesus by removing Him from the verse. It seems like she's calling herself "the Light," which probably explains the "inner god."
1 John 1:5 "This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all."
John 1:6-9
"God sent a man, John the Baptist, to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony. John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light. The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world."
John 12:36
"Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light.” After saying these things, Jesus went away and was hidden from them."
2 Corinthians 6:18 "And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."
I told her that in order to be the Child of the Light, one needs to believe in Jesus Christ and repent; I got blocked. Her profile says "following the Holy Spirit" without knowing who the Holy Spirit is and being ashamed of Him.
1 Peter 3:18 "Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit."
Romans 16:17-20
"And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people. But everyone knows that you are obedient to the Lord. This makes me very happy. I want you to be wise in doing right and to stay innocent of any wrong. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you."
