Reincarnations & Fortune Tellers

In religion and philosophy, reincarnation (from Latin meaning "to be made flesh again") refers to the belief that a part of a living being survives death to be reborn in a new body. This reincarnated self supposedly carries some essence or identity of the past life into the next life, although it is usually unaware of it. Reincarnation is a central tenet of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, all from Asia and New Age groups. In other words, PAGAN RELIGIONS.

I do not belong to any of these false religions. I am spiritual, and my intel comes from God Almighty and His Word in the Bible; through the Holy Spirit that is in me.

• Galatians 1:11-12 "Dear brothers and sisters, I want you to understand that the gospel message I preach is not based on mere human reasoning. I received my message from no human source, and no one taught me. Instead, I received it by direct revelation from Jesus Christ."

It wasn't always the case. A long time ago, before I found my narrow way, I was introduced to and captivated by this paganism, and here I share my story;

I've always considered myself a Spiritual person. I got brought up in a catholic house, but it did not speak to me, though I always believed in God Almighty. Throughout my life, I have been testing other ideologies and theories. At some point, I went to the School of Metaphysics in Chicago, where reincarnation was the main focus. I was taking in all the information as much as possible, but at some point, I realized I was only having more questions, and things didn't add up. I was looking for answers but ended up being more confused than before. I also went to get a "reading," but none of what I was told came true. I'm naturally skilled at making external connections, but my mind became a mess with this. My daughter was only a few months old then, and I was going through postpartum depression. Having no support and being surrounded by narcissistic abusers, I concluded that I was utterly worthless and my daughter was better off without me. I wanted my life to end. I couldn't do it myself, so I begged God to take this life and give me a new one (thinking of reincarnation). At one point, I ended up in ER with a life-threatening "thyroid storm," where a prayer to God in Jesus Christ's name revived me to keep going. While I was there, two other people died in front of me. I realized how fragile our lives are.

Poof, and gone. God then guided me to learn about His Word in the Bible and follow His instructions instead. I turned to God in 2009, got baptized with water in 2014, and followed the Bible's teaching for the next 8 years (even though I did not understand it all). My faith in following Him led me to true Repentance in 2022 when my savior Jesus Christ revealed Himself to me, and I became a child of God. I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. My prayer was answered, but not in the FALSE way I imagined it. He did give me a new Life as I asked, but accordingly, to His Word and not a false religion. The truth is, I did not have a life before I met Him. I was living in sin, which was my death, and He made me Alive. The Holy Spirit answered let me to the Truth, and all the external connections became a clear picture of what life is and why we are here. There is no more confusion or misunderstanding.

Before you completely immerse in the reincarnation fantasy of these false religions, why don't you learn more about those religions? For example: did you know they believe in 33 gods and create more whenever possible? They don't worship the true God, but idols and the things God created; the universe, the stars, animals, etc.

• Deuteronomy 4:19 "And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars—all the forces of heaven—don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The Lord your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth."

Deuteronomy 18:10-13

"For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering. And do not let your people practice fortune-telling, or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord. It is because the other nations have done these detestable things that the Lord your God will drive them out ahead of you. But you must be blameless before the Lord your God."

• Leviticus 19:26 “Do not eat meat that has not been drained of its blood. Do not practice fortune-telling or witchcraft.”

• 2 Kings 21:6 "Manasseh also sacrificed his own son in the fire. He practiced sorcery and divination, and he consulted with mediums and psychics. He did much that was evil in the Lord’s sight, arousing his anger."

Leviticus 20:6-8

"I will also turn against those who commit SPIRITUAL PROSTITUTION BY PUTTING THEIR TRUST IN MEDIUMS or in those who consult the spirits of the dead. I will cut them off from the community. So set yourselves apart to be holy, for I am the Lord your God. Keep all my decrees by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord who makes you holy."

• Leviticus 20:27 "Men and women among you WHO ACT AS MEDIUMS or who consult the spirits of the dead MUST BE PUT TO DEATH by stoning. They are guilty of a capital offense."

• Isaiah 8:19 "Someone may say to you, “Let’s ask the mediums and those who consult the spirits of the dead. With their whisperings and mutterings, they will tell us what to do.” But shouldn’t people ask God for guidance? Should the living seek guidance from the dead?"

Why is this belief wrong?

It steals the meaning of your life on Earth right now. If you think there’s an escape to start over, you stop trying to overcome obstacles thinking that the next life won’t have them. That is what God’s enemy wants; to get a hold of your Spirit by deception in a false belief. Just because you believe it doesn’t make it accurate. I almost fell into that trap that could have cost me my eternity, so I am here to warn you how serious this is.

2 Corinthians 5:10

"For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body."

• If you believe in reincarnation; how many bodies will stand in place of your One Spirit? 10? 25? 150? Isn't it silly?

ONE LIFE;

"And just as each person is destined to DIE ONCE and after that comes judgment."

Ecclesiastes 12:4-7

"Remember him before the door to life’s opportunities is closed and the sound of work fades. Now you rise at the first chirping of the birds, but then all their sounds will grow faint.

Remember him before you become fearful of falling and worry about danger in the streets; before your hair turns white like an almond tree in bloom, and you drag along without energy like a dying grasshopper, and the caperberry no longer inspires sexual desire. Remember him before you near the grave, your everlasting home, when the mourners will weep at your funeral.

Yes, remember your Creator now while you are young, before the silver cord of life snaps and the golden bowl is broken. Don’t wait until the water jar is smashed at the spring and the pulley is broken at the well. For then the dust will return to the earth, and the spirit will return to God who gave it."

Job 14:10-12

“But when people die, their strength is gone. They breathe their last, and then where are they? As water evaporates from a lake and a river disappears in drought, people are laid to rest and do not rise again. Until the heavens are no more, they will not wake up nor be roused from their sleep."

Luke 16:19-26

"Jesus said, “There was a certain rich man who was splendidly clothed in purple and fine linen and who lived each day in luxury. At his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus who was covered with sores. As Lazarus lay there longing for scraps from the rich man’s table, the dogs would come and lick his open sores.

“Finally, the poor man died and was carried by the angels to sit beside Abraham at the heavenly banquet. The rich man also died and was buried, and he went to the place of the dead. There, in torment, he saw Abraham in the far distance with Lazarus at his side.

“The rich man shouted, ‘Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames.’

“But Abraham said to him, ‘Son, remember that during your lifetime you had everything you wanted, and Lazarus had nothing. So now he is here being comforted, and you are in anguish. And besides, there is a great chasm separating us. NO ONE CAN CROSS over to you from here, and no one can cross over to us from there.’"

• 2 Samuel 12:23 "But why should I fast when he is dead? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him one day, but he cannot return to me.”

• Job 7:9-10 "Just as a cloud dissipates and vanishes, those who die will not come back. They are gone forever from their home— never to be seen again."

• Job 10:20-22 "I have only a few days left, so leave me alone, that I may have a moment of comfort before I leave—NEVER TO RETURN— for the land of darkness and utter gloom. It is a land as dark as midnight, a land of gloom and confusion, where even the light is dark as midnight.’”

Being "Born Again"

John 3:3-6

"Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

“What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”

Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES BIRTH to spiritual life."

• To be "born again" means to have Faith in Jesus Christ; God's only Son, to Repent and receive the Holy Spirit. It has nothing to do with reincarnation.

"When THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH comes, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. HE WILL TELL YOU ABOUT THE FUTURE. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.’

FORTUNE TELLERS VS. GOD'S SERVANT

Daniel 2

"One night during the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had such disturbing dreams that he couldn’t sleep. He called in his magicians, enchanters, sorcerers, and astrologers, and he demanded that they tell him what he had dreamed. As they stood before the king, he said, “I HAVE HAD A DREAM THAT DEEPLY TROUBLES ME, AND I MUST KNOW WHAT IT MEANS."

Then the astrologers answered the king in Aramaic, “Long live the king! Tell us the dream, and we will tell you what it means.”

But the king said to the astrologers, “I am serious about this. If you don’t tell me what my dream was and what it means, you will be torn limb from limb, and your houses will be turned into heaps of rubble! But if you tell me what I dreamed and what the dream means, I will give you many wonderful gifts and honors. JUST TELL ME THE DREAM AND WHAT IT MEANS!"

They said again, “Please, Your Majesty. TELL US THE DREAM, AND WE WILL TELL YOU WHAT IT MEANS."

The king replied, “I know what you are doing! You’re stalling for time because you know I am serious when I say, ‘If you don’t tell me the dream, you are doomed.’ So you have conspired to tell me lies, hoping I will change my mind. But tell me the dream, and then I’ll know that you can tell me what it means.”

The astrologers replied to the king, “NO ONE ON EARTH CAN TELL THE KING HIS DREAM! And no king, however great and powerful, has ever asked such a thing of any magician, enchanter, or astrologer! THE KING'S DEMAND IS IMPOSSIBLE! No one except the gods can tell you your dream, and they do not live here among people.”

The king was furious when he heard this, and he ordered that all the wise men of Babylon be executed. And because of the king’s decree, men were sent to find and kill Daniel and his friends.

When Arioch, the commander of the king’s guard, came to kill them, Daniel handled the situation with wisdom and discretion. He asked Arioch, “Why has the king issued such a harsh decree?” So Arioch told him all that had happened. Daniel went at once to see the king and requested more time to tell the king what the dream meant.

Then Daniel went home and told his friends Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah what had happened. He urged them TO ASK GOD OF HEAVEN to show them his mercy by telling them the secret, so they would not be executed along with the other wise men of Babylon. THAT NIGHT THE SECRET WAS REVEALED TO DANIEL IN A VISION. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven. He said,

“Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he has all wisdom and power. He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light. I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded.”

Daniel Interprets the Dream

Then Daniel went in to see Arioch, whom the king had ordered to execute the wise men of Babylon. Daniel said to him, “Don’t kill the wise men. Take me to the king, and I will tell him the meaning of his dream.”

Arioch quickly took Daniel to the king and said, “I have found one of the captives from Judah who will tell the king the meaning of his dream!”

The king said to Daniel (also known as Belteshazzar), “Is this true? Can you tell me what my dream was and what it means?”

Daniel replied, “There are no wise men, enchanters, magicians, or fortune-tellers who can reveal the king’s secret. But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in the future. Now I will tell you your dream and the visions you saw as you lay on your bed.

“While Your Majesty was sleeping, you dreamed about coming events. He who reveals secrets has shown you what is going to happen. And it is not because I am wiser than anyone else that I know the secret of your dream, but because God wants you to understand what was in your heart.

“In your vision, Your Majesty, you saw standing before you a huge, shining statue of a man. It was a frightening sight. The head of the statue was made of fine gold. Its chest and arms were silver, its belly and thighs were bronze, its legs were iron, and its feet were a combination of iron and baked clay. As you watched, a rock was cut from a mountain, but not by human hands. It struck the feet of iron and clay, smashing them to bits. The whole statue was crushed into small pieces of iron, clay, bronze, silver, and gold. Then the wind blew them away without a trace, like chaff on a threshing floor. But the rock that knocked the statue down became a great mountain that covered the whole earth.

“THAT WAS THE DREAM. NOW WE WILL TELL THE KING WHAT IT MEANS. Your Majesty, you are the greatest of kings. The God of heaven has given you sovereignty, power, strength, and honor. He has made you the ruler over all the inhabited world and has put even the wild animals and birds under your control. You are the head of gold.

“But after your kingdom comes to an end, another kingdom, inferior to yours, will rise to take your place. After that kingdom has fallen, yet a third kingdom, represented by bronze, will rise to rule the world. Following that kingdom, there will be a fourth one, as strong as iron. That kingdom will smash and crush all previous empires, just as iron smashes and crushes everything it strikes. The feet and toes you saw were a combination of iron and baked clay, showing that this kingdom will be divided. Like iron mixed with clay, it will have some of the strength of iron. But while some parts of it will be as strong as iron, other parts will be as weak as clay. This mixture of iron and clay also shows that these kingdoms will try to strengthen themselves by forming alliances with each other through intermarriage. But they will not hold together, just as iron and clay do not mix.

“During the reigns of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed or conquered. It will crush all these kingdoms into nothingness, and it will stand forever. That is the meaning of the rock cut from the mountain, though not by human hands, that crushed to pieces the statue of iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold. The great God was showing the king what will happen in the future. The dream is true, and its meaning is certain.”

Nebuchadnezzar Rewards Daniel

Then King Nebuchadnezzar threw himself down before Daniel and worshiped him, and he commanded his people to offer sacrifices and burn sweet incense before him. The king said to Daniel, “Truly, YOUR GOD IS THE GREATEST OF ALL GODS, THE LORD OVER KINGS, A REVEALER OF MYSTERIES, for you have been able to reveal this secret.”

Then the king appointed Daniel to a high position and gave him many valuable gifts. He made Daniel ruler over the whole province of Babylon, as well as chief over all his wise men. At Daniel’s request, the king appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to be in charge of all the affairs of the province of Babylon, while Daniel remained in the king’s court."

• Daniel was the only one who could know and interpret the dream because he had the Holy Spirit and served God

"Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant."

"Don’t be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God’s Son, and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment."

• Daniel 12:2 "Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace."

• Revelation 21:8 “But cowards, UNBELIEVERS, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, THOSE WHO PRACTICE WITCHCRAFT, IDOL WORSHIPPERS, and all LIARS—their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

“But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams. Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as bad as worshiping idols. So because you have rejected the command of the Lord, he has rejected you as king.”

"But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves."

• 1 Timothy 4:1 "Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons."

• If your belief is not found in the Word of God, then it’s FALSE.

• 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 'These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So, it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve."

Psalm 28:3-5

“Do not drag me away with the wicked—with those who do evil—those who speak friendly words to their neighbors while planning evil in their hearts. Give them the punishment they so richly deserve! Measure it out in proportion to their wickedness. Pay them back for all their evil deeds! Give them a taste of what they have done to others. They care nothing for what the Lord has done or for what his hands have made. So he will tear them down, and they will never be rebuilt!”

Malachi 3:5

“At that time I will put you on trial. I am eager to witness against all sorcerers and adulterers and liars. I will speak against those who cheat employees of their wages, who oppress widows and orphans, or who deprive the foreigners living among you of justice, for these people do not fear me,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies."

Isaiah 47

Prediction of Babylon’s Fall

• Babylon refers to ANY wicked land that practices the following;

“Come down, virgin daughter of Babylon, and sit in the dust. For your days of sitting on a throne have ended. O daughter of Babylonia, never again will you be the lovely princess, tender and delicate. Take heavy millstones and grind flour. Remove your veil, and strip off your robe. Expose yourself to public view. You will be naked and burdened with shame. I will take vengeance against you without pity.”

Our Redeemer, whose name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, is the Holy One of Israel.

“O beautiful Babylon, sit now in darkness and silence. Never again will you be known as the queen of kingdoms. For I was angry with my chosen people and punished them by letting them fall into your hands. But you, Babylon, showed them no mercy. You oppressed even the elderly. You said, ‘I will reign forever as queen of the world!’ You did not reflect on your actions or think about their consequences.

“Listen to this, you pleasure-loving kingdom, living at ease and feeling secure. You say, ‘I am the only one, and there is no other. I will never be a widow or lose my children.’ Well, both these things will come upon you in a moment: widowhood and the loss of your children. Yes, these calamities will come upon you, despite all your witchcraft and magic.

“You felt secure in your wickedness. ‘No one sees me,’ you said. But your ‘wisdom’ and ‘knowledge’ have led you astray, and you said, ‘I am the only one, and there is no other.’ So disaster will overtake you, and you won’t be able to charm it away. Calamity will fall upon you, and you won’t be able to buy your way out. A catastrophe will strike you suddenly, one for which you are not prepared.

“Now use your magical charms! Use the spells you have worked at all these years! Maybe they will do you some good. Maybe they can make someone afraid of you. All the advice you receive has made you tired. Where are all your astrologers, those stargazers who make predictions each month? Let them stand up and save you from what the future holds. But they are like straw burning in a fire; they cannot save themselves from the flame. You will get no help from them at all; their hearth is no place to sit for warmth. And all your friends, those with whom you’ve done business since childhood, will go their own ways, turning a deaf ear to your cries.”

Micah 5:1-15

“In that day,” says the Lord, “I will slaughter your horses and destroy your chariots. I will tear down your walls and demolish your defenses. I will put an end to ALL witchcraft, and there will be NO MORE fortune-tellers. I WILL DESTROY YOUR IDOLS and sacred pillars, so you will never again worship the work of your own hands. I will abolish your idol shrines with their Asherah poles and destroy your pagan cities. I will pour out my vengeance on all the nations that refuse to obey me.”

The only way to get cleansed from “karma” is through Faith and Repentance

Psalm 32

“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty! When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Interlude

Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. Interlude

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord. So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!”

• Acts 19:18-20 "Many who became believers confessed their sinful practices. A number of them who had been practicing sorcery brought their incantation books and burned them at a public bonfire. The value of the books was several million dollars. So the message about the Lord spread widely and had a powerful effect." 🙌

Jeremiah 10:2-5

"This is what the Lord says:

“Do not act like the other nations, who try to read their future in the stars. Do not be afraid of their predictions, even though other nations are terrified by them. Their ways are futile and foolish. They cut down a tree, and a craftsman carves an idol. They decorate it with gold and silver and then fasten it securely with hammer and nails so it won’t fall over. Their gods are like helpless scarecrows in a cucumber field! They cannot speak, and they need to be carried because they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of such gods, for they can neither harm you nor do you any good.”

Romans 16:17-20

“And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people. But everyone knows that you are obedient to the Lord. This makes me very happy. I want you to be wise in doing right and to stay innocent of any wrong. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”

• Ephesians 5:11 "Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them."

• 2 Peter 3:17-18 “You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing. Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.”
