16. What does the voice of many waters mean in the book Revelations?

The Holy Spirit is like the LIVING WATER giving ETERNAL LIFE. 144,000 are the chosen ones who are given the Holy Spirit – they are marked with the seal of God. That’s how God sets them apart from the rest, to be holy. So they have the sound of living water within them because the Holy Spirit lives within them and speaks through them.

John 4:13–14 “Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink THE WATER I GIVE will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring WITHIN THEM, giving them ETERNAL LIFE.”

John 7:38–39

“ANYONE WHO BELIEVES IN ME MAY COME AND DRINK! For the Scriptures declare, ‘RIVERS OF LIVING WATER WILL FLOW FROM HIS HEART.’” (When he said “living water,” he was speaking of THE SPIRIT, who would be GIVEN to everyone BELIEVING IN HIM. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.)”

Revelation 14:1–5

“Then I saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I  heard a sound from heaven LIKE THE ROAR OF MIGHTY OCEAN WAVES OR THE ROLLING OF LOUD THUNDER. It was like the sound of many harpists playing together. This great choir sang a wonderful new song in front of the throne of God and before the four living beings and the twenty-four elders. No one could learn this song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. They have kept themselves as pure as virgins, FOLLOWING THE LAMB wherever he goes. They have been purchased from among the people on the earth as a special offering to God and to the Lamb. THEY HAVE TOLD NO LIES; THEY ARE WITHOUT BLAME.”

Ephesians 5:25-27 “For husbands, this means love your wives, JUST AS CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. He did this to present her to himself as A GLORIOUS CHURCH WITHOUT A SPOT OR WRINKLE OR ANY OTHER BLEMISH. Instead, SHE WILL BE HOLY AND WITHOUT FAULT.”

Revelation 19:6-9

“Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd or THE ROAR OF MIGHTY OCEAN WAVES OR THE CRASH OF LOUD THUNDER:“Praise the Lord! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for THE WEDDING FEAST OF THE LAMB, AND HIS BRIDE HAS PREPARED HERSELF. She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.”

For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people. And the angel said to me, “Write this: BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE INVITED TO THE WEDDING FEAST OF THE LAMB.” And he added, “THESE ARE TRUE WORDS THAT COME FROM GOD.”
