Why is the Bible version important? Because reading the wrong version will keep you in the dark. I was kept in the dark this way by sticking with the hardest to understand, the King James Version. Why did I do it? Someone, whose name I'll leave out, told me it was the one, and only because it's the oldest available.
After being baptized with the Holy Spirit, this was the first thing that the Holy Spirit exposed me to, then turned my attention to New Living Translation.
Understanding the main concepts is like reading the road signs. If you turn the wrong way, it may be too far or too late to return to the right one. This depends on a person's stubbornness; some people don't like changes and prefer to stay with what they know, even when it's wrong.
Adding and Removing
New Living Translation
Revelation 22:18-19
"18 And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written IN this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described IN this book. 19 And if anyone removes any of the words from THIS book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described IN this book."
This means the ENTIRE BIBLE - all the Books that it contains, which is the collection of prophecies. The prophecy in Psalms, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, Amos, and others is the same prophecy that is in the Book of Revelation but shows other details and perspectives that align with those in the Book of Revelation.
Whereas other versions replace IN with OF, which makes one think that it only refers to the Book of Revelation and not other Books within the entire Bible. Ask any Mormon; they believe it's only about the book of Revelation and don't see problems with additions to other books. The same is with KJV fans; they are less inclined to add but see no problem with the name of God being removed.
KJV "18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy OF this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of THIS prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
NIV "18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy OF this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll."
ASV "18 I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy OF this book, If any man shall add unto them, God shall add unto him the plagues which are written in this book: 19 and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book."

Being IN this world OR Being OF this world?
My answer: I'm IN this world, but I'm not OF this world. Ecclesiastes 3:14-15 "And I know that whatever God does is FINAL Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him. What is happening now has happened before, and what will happen in the future has happened before, because God makes the same things happen over and over again."
Baptism
When I became a new believer, I was told to be baptized for the forgiveness of sins. At one church, I was told that my infant water baptism was enough, and I only had to declare publicly that "I returned to faith." It makes no sense since I had no faith or memory of the event as an infant. Then I went to another church where I did receive the water baptism and gave my testimony in front of 1000+ people. The public profession of faith felt amazing. However, they made me believe that my sins were forgiven by doing it. I even received a certificate with the Bible verses that are about the Holy Spirit baptism. I was told I received the Holy Spirit, even though I did not feel like a brand new person. I only felt that I have done the right thing, but inside, the darkness was still there. Water baptism and Holy Spirit baptism are two separate events. It took me 8 years in between, but I cannot take any credit for it. I would never be able to schedule it like I did water baptism to receive it. Why do pastors tell those falsehoods? Because they themselves haven't received it and don't know the difference. God tells us how it really is through the events in the Bible:
Noah and the Flood; was a symbol of water baptism.
When Jesus Christ returns, He will baptize with Holy Spirit and Fire. Those who were baptized with the Holy Spirit and Fire before Judgment Day will be transformed, and those who did not; will be consumed by that Fire; the lukewarm believers will be tested and judged.
Luke 3:16 "John answered their questions by saying, “I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire."
Psalm 21:9 "You will throw them in a flaming furnace when you appear. The Lord will consume them in his anger; fire will devour them."
Deuteronomy 4:24 "The Lord your God is a devouring fire; he is a jealous God."
I'm not saying everyone will receive the Holy Spirit during Judgment; only that these are two separate events. Water baptism can be done by a human, but the Holy Spirit baptism only comes from Jesus Christ; it's His Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is no longer in the human body. He ascended into Heaven in His Immortal Body. From there, He sends His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit makes a choice, not humans.
John 15:16 "You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name."
Does that mean you should give up because God did not choose you? Absolutely not! God chooses those who REPENT! But if you want to continue sinning, you won't be chosen. It's that simple. Yes, God knows which ones are Chosen, but you don't, so don't assume.
John 1:32–34 "Then John testified, “I saw the Holy Spirit descending like a dove from heaven and resting upon him. I didn’t know he was the one, but when God sent me to baptize with water, he told me, ‘The one on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I saw this happen to Jesus, so I testify that he is the Chosen One of God.”
1 John 5:6-8
“And Jesus Christ was revealed as God’s Son by his baptism in water and by shedding his blood on the cross—not by water only, but by water and blood. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with his testimony. So we have these THREE WITNESSES— the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and all three agree.”
If water baptism were enough, then John the Baptist would have done it himself. This is a huge error that reflects in wrong bible versions.
The "witness of blood" means having Faith in Jesus Christ, who is the Lord = God, who appeared in human form to die for sinners. Who gave His body on the cross as a Sacrifice to be the first one to rise from the dead. He is no longer in human flesh but in Spirit. By doing this, He made a way to eternal life for those who Love Him and seek Him. Learn more; Jesus Christ
New Living Translation
Acts 10:45–48
45 "The Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles, too. 46 For they heard them speaking in other tongues and praising God. Then Peter asked, 47 “Can anyone object to their being baptized, now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?” 48 So he gave orders for them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Afterward Cornelius asked him to stay with them for several days."
Verse 47
WRONG ONES
ESV “Then Peter declared, “Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”
KJV “Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?”
NIV “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”
ERV “How can anyone object to these people being baptized in water? They have received the Holy Spirit the same as we did!”
ASV “Can any man forbid the water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?”
NKJV "Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?”
They suggest that only water gives the Holy Spirit, and it’s false. Everyone I speak to who only had the water baptism believes they also have the Holy Spirit, yet they still live in sin!
1 John 3:8-10 "But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God."
The Holy Spirit will not join with a sinner! Ever! It requires genuine Repentance. Saying you're sorry and actually repenting are two different things! IT TAKES A COMPLETELY BROKEN HEART AS AN OFFERING TO GOD TO REPENT! AND IT REQUIRES HATRED TOWARD THE WORLD!
James 4:6-10
"And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Let there be TEARS for what you have done. Let there be SORROW and DEEP GRIEF. Let there be SADNESS instead of laughter, and GLOOM instead of joy. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor."
These emotions don't come on demand; no one is able to fool God by acting; He knows everyone's heart
Examples;
Hannah
1 Samuel 1:9-18
"Once after a sacrificial meal at Shiloh, Hannah got up and went to pray. Eli the priest was sitting at his customary place beside the entrance of the Tabernacle. Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the Lord. And she made this vow: “O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, if you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime, and as a sign that he has been dedicated to the Lord, his hair will never be cut.” As she was praying to the Lord, Eli watched her. Seeing her lips moving but hearing no sound, he thought she had been drinking. “Must you come here drunk?” he demanded. “Throw away your wine!” “Oh no, sir!” she replied. “I haven’t been drinking wine or anything stronger. But I am very discouraged, and I was pouring out my heart to the Lord. Don’t think I am a wicked woman! For I have been praying out of great anguish and sorrow.” “In that case,” Eli said, “go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him.” “Oh, thank you, sir!” she exclaimed. Then she went back and began to eat again, and she was no longer sad."
1 Samuel 1:20 "and in due time she gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, for she said, “I asked the Lord for him.”
Jesus Christ
Hebrews 5:7-10
"While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, WITH A LOUD CRY AND TEARS, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God. Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things HE SUFFERED. In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. And God designated him to be a High Priest in the order of Melchizedek."
1 Samuel 2:1-10
Hannah’s Prayer of Praise
"Then Hannah prayed: “My heart rejoices in the Lord! The Lord has made me strong. Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me. No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.“ Stop acting so proud and haughty! Don’t speak with such arrogance! For the Lord is a God who knows what you have done; he will judge your actions. The bow of the mighty is now broken, and those who stumbled are now strong. Those who were well fed are now starving, and those who were starving are now full. The childless woman now has seven children, and the woman with many children wastes away. The Lord gives both death and life; he brings some down to the grave but raises others up. The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord’s, and he has set the world in order. “He will protect his faithful ones, but the wicked will disappear in darkness. No one will succeed by strength alone. Those who fight against the Lord will be shattered. He thunders against them from heaven; the Lord judges throughout the earth. He gives power to his king; he increases the strength of his anointed one.”
The Holy Spirit shows through Works!
James 2:18-20
"Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?"

The Laying On Of Hands
Since people make errors about water baptisms, the laying on of hands is overlooked, not understood, taught, and of course, not practiced. All this goes back to receiving the Holy Spirit first.
Acts 19:6
"Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”As soon as they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied. There were about twelve men in all."
1 Timothy 4:14 "Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you."
Hebrews 6:1-3
"So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding."
The Name of God
The Bible is the Word of God, so it should go without saying that His name should not be removed from it.
New Living Translation
2 John 1:10
"If anyone comes to your meeting and does not teach the truth about Christ, don’t invite that person into your home or give any kind of encouragement."
Also Correct: TLB (Living Bible) "If anyone comes to teach you, and he doesn’t believe what Christ taught, don’t even invite him into your home. Don’t encourage him in any way."
WRONG ONES: No mention of Christ. It could be anything, then!
KJV "If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:"
ASV "If any one cometh unto you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and give him no greeting:"
CEV "If people won't agree to this teaching, don't welcome them into your home or even greet them."
NLV "If a person comes to you with some other kind of teaching, do not take him into your home. Do not even greet him."
Easy-To-Read "Don’t accept those who come to you but do not bring this teaching. Don’t invite them into your house. Don’t welcome them in any way."
ESV "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting,"
GNT "So then, if some come to you who do not bring this teaching, do not welcome them in your homes; do not even say, “Peace be with you.”
MSG "If anyone shows up who doesn’t hold to this teaching, don’t invite him in and give him the run of the place. That would just give him a platform to perpetuate his evil ways, making you his partner."
NIV "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them."
NLV "If a person comes to you with some other kind of teaching, do not take him into your home. Do not even greet him."
Catholic "Do not receive into the house or welcome anyone who comes to you and does not bring this teaching;"
Complete Jewish Bible "If someone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, don’t welcome him into your home. Don’t even say, “Shalom!” to him;"

JHVH - Hebrew Yahweh - English Pronunciation (yo͝od′hä′väv′hä′, yä′wā, yä′wĕ)
Some will say it's ok that it's not included because the pronunciation is difficult. No, it's not ok that it's removed! No one should remove or add anything!
Remember: God is full of loving-kindness, and He is the one who created all the languages in the world! Each language and dialect will sound slightly different, but God looks at the heart. If your heart is full of love for Him, He will not punish you for not sounding like native Hebrew! There is a difference between being perfected by God and striving for perfectionism without God. No one can ever become perfect without God!
Think about it this way; if your loved one had a problem with pronouncing your name correctly because their native language is different, would you rather they don't say it at all and avoid it altogether? That wouldn't be loving. You'd think they're ashamed of it. And no one can say that they cannot pronounce "Christ" as in the previous example!
Matthew 10:33 "But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven."
New Living Translation
Exodus 34:5-6
"Then the Lord came down in a cloud and stood there with him; and he called out his own name, Yahweh. The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out,“Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness."
WRONG ONES No name included
NLV "The Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with Moses as he called upon the name of the Lord. Then the Lord passed by in front of him, saying, “The Lord, the Lord God, with loving-pity and loving-favor, slow to anger, filled with loving-kindness and truth,"
KJV "And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,"
CSB "The Lord came down in a cloud, stood with him there, and proclaimed his name, “the Lord.” The Lord passed in front of him and proclaimed: The Lord—the Lord is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love and truth,"
ESV "The Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness,"
NIV "Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,"

Jesus Christ was a SACRIFICE, not a SIN!
Churches I went to taught that Jesus "became a sin." NO!
This is a big one, and it always confused me. That confusion was so ingrained through reading and learning from the wrong versions that it almost led me astray.
To this day, I remember one of the pastors, with whom I spoke one-on-one plenty of times, told me, "Jesus became a sin." At the time, it sounded like it made sense; "ok, so He deserved the cross, then?" It echoed in my mind and influenced me on a high level. He confused me even more when I tried to question him, bringing up other verses contradicting this verse/statement. His explanations made no sense, and I felt he wanted me to shut up; I felt guilty for asking and shamed for not believing him. Many people give up on understanding the Bible because of these confusions.
In my first testimony, right after my repentance, I repeated that mistake in his words, even though my understanding was correct.
However, the Holy Spirit made my consciousness so heavy that I could not ignore it. God made me correct this learned mistake real quick. He guided me to the Truth; now, I'm exposing it.
Jesus was born into human flesh, but he NEVER fell into a temptation to sin! Therefore, He could NEVER become a Sin!
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, so He was always Holy from the start.
Luke 1:34-35 "Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. SO THE BABY TO BE BORN WILL BE HOLY, and he will be called the Son of God.”
KJV: "Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." (it sounds demeaning as if Jesus Christ was less than Mary!)
How are "knowing A man" vs. "being a virgin" compatible?
Jesus Christ NEVER sinned.
Correct:
John 8:46 NLT "Which of you can truthfully ACCUSE me of sin? And since I AM TELLING you the truth, why don’t you believe me?"
"Accuse" - charge with an offense; demands factual evidence;
"I am telling" - an assertive statement of Being Truthful
Wrong:
John 8:46 KJV “Which of you CONVINCETH me of sin? And IF I SAY the truth, why do ye not believe me?”
Convince - persuade; cause to believe; it gives a vibe of suspicion as if Jesus wasn't sure or trying to get away with something; "IF" speaks of "possibility" (may or may not)
"If I say" - open for interpretation, mind game, confusion, expression of an opinion. (God is not a God of confusion but of peace!)
The KJV version of Jesus Christ leaves the wrong impression of who Jesus Christ is! (check the version you have) Jesus Christ SACRIFICED Himself for OUR SINS. New Living Translation
"For God made Christ, who never sinned, TO BE THE OFFERING FOR OUR SIN, so that we could be made right with God through Christ."
Also correct; New Life Version
"Christ never sinned but GOD PUT OUR SIN ON HIM. Then we are made right with God because of what Christ has done for us."
WRONG VERSIONS;
ASV "Him who knew no sin he made TO BE SIN on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him."
AMPLIFIED "For our sake He made Christ [virtually] TO BE SIN Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]."
BRG "For he hath made him TO BE SIN for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
ESV "For our sake he made him TO BE SIN who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
KJV "For he hath made him TO BE SIN for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
NIV "God made him who had no sin TO BE SIN for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
Righteous and Sinners
Luke 5:31-32 New Living Translation “Jesus answered them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who THINK they are righteous, but those who KNOW they are sinners and need to repent.” Romans 3:23 “For EVERYONE HAS SINNED; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”
Those who “THINK” they are righteous do not see their wrongdoing
Those who “KNOW” they are sinners do see their wrongdoing AND REPENT.
Acts 2:38 “Peter replied, “EACH OF YOU MUST REPENT of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. THEN you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 7:51–53 “You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? That’s what your ancestors did, and so do you! Name one prophet your ancestors didn’t persecute! They even killed the ones who predicted the coming of the Righteous One—the Messiah whom you betrayed and murdered. You deliberately disobeyed God’s law, even though you received it from the hands of angels.” THE WRONG VERSION MAKES PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT SOME ARE RIGHTEOUS AND DO NOT NEED TO REPENT! Luke 5:32 KJV “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” NIV “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” NLV “I have not come to call good people. I have come to call sinners to be sorry for their sins and to turn from them.”
Luke 18:19 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good.”
ESV “I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.” ASV “I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.” BRG “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” VOICE “I haven’t come for the pure and upstanding; I’ve come to call notorious sinners to rethink their lives and turn to God.”
Luke 13:1–5
“About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. “Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.”
Psalm 7:12-13
“If a person does not repent, God will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow. He will prepare his deadly weapons and shoot his flaming arrows.”
"The Morning Star"
This one comes from a question I was asked on Quora:
“Satan was referred to as the "Morning Star" then why did Jesus refer to himself as the "Morning Star" when he came to Earth as God incarnate? Are Jesus & the Devil the same person?”
The person who asked this question read NIV.
Isaiah 14:12 "How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!”
THIS IS A TERRIBLE ERROR. Other versions translated in the same way are ASV, AMP, AMPC, CSB, CEB, CJB, CEV, EXB, LSB, NASB, and MANY MORE.
Mark 3:28–30 “I tell you the truth, all sin and blasphemy can be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. This is a sin with eternal consequences.” He told them this because they were saying, “He’s possessed by an evil spirit.”
Isaiah 14:12 NEW LIVING TRANSLATION
“How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, SON OF THE MORNING! You have been thrown down to the earth, you who destroyed the nations of the world.”
ALL STARS in the sky are supernatural beings! Good, until they FALL! That’s why we should not worship them (angel worship is prohibited), or seek their counsel about the future. OR make wishes when we see a “falling star!” (Deuteronomy 17:3, then Daniel 12:3 = Luke 20:36).
Satan is referred to as “the Son of the morning!” = NOT “The Morning Star!”
2 Corinthians 11:14 “But I am not surprised! Even SATAN DISGUISES HIMSELF as an angel of light.”
Satan is doing everything to make people follow him - the FALSE “light.” He fools people that he is Jesus Christ and tries to replicate His works, with LIES and counterfeit miracles. It increasingly becomes obvious how people become twisted in thinking that good is bad and bad is good! That light is darkness, and darkness is light! (Isaiah 5:20–21). This will be most evident when the antichrist is revealed. People will think satan is the Messiah!
Revelation 13:11 “Then I saw another BEAST come up out of the earth. He had two horns like those of a LAMB, but he spoke with the VOICE OF A DRAGON.” (the devil - FALSE Shepherd)
John 10:26-27 “But you DON’T BELIEVE ME because you are NOT MY SHEEP. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
Revelation 22:16
“I, JESUS, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I AM THE BRIGHT MORNING STAR.”
The Morning Star = THE GLORY OF GOD. This is how Jesus Christ REVEALS HIMSELF to those He chooses to!
John 17:5 “Now, Father, bring me into THE GLORY WE SHARED before the world began.”
John 12:45 “For when you see me, you are seeing the one who sent me.”
Exodus 33:18
“Moses responded, “Then show me your GLORIOUS PRESENCE.”
Numbers 16:19
“Meanwhile, Korah had stirred up the entire community against Moses and Aaron, and they all gathered at the Tabernacle entrance. Then THE GLORIOUS PRESENCE OF THE LORD APPEARED to the whole community,”
Romans 1:4 “and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.”
Romans 10:12 “Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have THE SAME LORD, who gives generously to all who call on him.”
2 Peter 1:16–19
“For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the powerful coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We saw his majestic splendor with our own eyes when he received honor and GLORY from God the Father. The voice FROM the majestic GLORY OF GOD said to him, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” We ourselves heard that voice from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain.
Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—UNTIL THE DAY DAWNS, and CHRIST THE MORNING STAR shines in your HEARTS.”
Revelation 2:26–28 “To all who are VICTORIOUS, who obey me to the very end, To them I
will give authority over all the nations. They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots. They will have the same authority I received from my Father, and I will also give them the morning star!”
“VICTORIOUS” over what? Satan! They crucified their SINFUL NATURE! (Galatians 5:24) How? BY REPENTANCE! They get baptized with the Spirit of Christ - RECEIVE “The Morning Star” = The Glory of God, and the AUTHORITY over the devil - because Christ comes to live in them and does the works through them.
Repentance means they came out of the “night” (darkness of sin) into the “day” (the Light of Christ) = “UNTIL THE DAY DAWNS, and CHRIST THE MORNING STAR shines in your HEARTS.”
Romans 8:29–30
“For God knew his people in advance, and HE CHOSE THEM TO BECOME LIKE HIS SON, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, HE GAVE THEM HIS GLORY.”
The Glory of God - the Holy Spirit baptism is the SEAL OF GOD.
Revelation 9:3–4
“Then locusts came from the smoke and descended on the earth, and they were given power to sting like scorpions. They were told not to harm the grass or plants or trees, but only the people who DID NOT HAVE THE SEAL OF GOD ON THEIR FOREHEADS.”
Satan will replicate “The Seal of God” with the “Mark of the Beast.”
Revelation 14:11 “The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever, and they will have no relief day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted the mark of his name.”
The Mark of the Beast is really a sinful nature. That’s why it takes faith and repentance to get rid of it! But, since satan replicates everything in the SEEN realm (Faith is UNSEEN) - those without faith will fall for his “mark” which will be something tangible. Taking it will be a point of no return - he will snatch souls, forever—no more option for repentance.
Therefore, BELIEVE AND REPENT! So you don’t fall for LIES!
Zephaniah 2:1–3
“Gather together—yes, gather together, you shameless nation. Gather before judgment begins, before your time to repent is blown away like chaff. Act now, before the fierce fury of the Lord falls and the terrible day of the Lord’s anger begins. Seek the Lord, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction.”
I have read many testimonies of people who claim to have seen God but really saw the devil masquerading himself.
What is the difference:
Jesus Christ reveals Himself to those who have called on His name to save them, confessed, and REPENTED from their sins. Seeing the Glory of God brought PEACE, FORGIVENESS, JOY, AND LOVE. (John 14:27, Galatians 5:22–23), and transformed them into NEW PERSON - one that does not go back to sinning!
People who claim to have seen Jesus Christ, but felt FEAR, ANXIETY, GUILT, SHAME, UNEASINESS, UNCONTROLLABLE SHAKING - have witnessed the enemy! They also continue to live in sin (Galatians 5:19–21).
People seem to admire those stories more, the thrill of darkness - pay attention!
1 John 4:1
“Dear friends, DO NOT believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must TEST THEM TO SEE IF THE SPIRIT THEY HAVE COMES FROM GOD. For there are many FALSE prophets in the world.”
Matthew 7:21–23
“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’
But I will reply, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU. GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU WHO BREAK GOD’S LAWS.’”
