God shows no favoritism

Many people are under the false impression that God favors Israelis. This is simply not true, through God's own words;

Numbers 15:15

“NATIVE-BORN ISRAELITES AND FOREIGNERS ARE EQUAL BEFORE THE LORD and are subject to THE SAME DECREES. This is a PERMANENT LAW for you, to be observed from generation to generation.”

1 Timothy 5:21

“I solemnly command you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus and the highest angels to OBEY THESE INSTRUCTIONS WITHOUT TAKING SIDES OR SHOWING FAVORITISM TO ANYONE.”

Proverbs 24:23–25

“Here are some further sayings of the wise:

It is wrong to show favoritism when passing judgment. A judge who says to the wicked, “You are innocent,” will be cursed by many people and denounced by the nations. But it will go well for those who convict the guilty; rich blessings will be showered on them.”

Malachi 2:7–9

“The words of a priest’s lips should preserve knowledge of God, and people should go to him for instruction, for the priest is the messenger of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

But you priests have left God’s paths. Your instructions have caused many to stumble into sin. You have corrupted the covenant I made with the Levites,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

“So I have made you despised and humiliated in the eyes of all the people. For you have NOT OBEYED ME but HAVE SHOWN FAVORITISM in the way you carry out my instructions.”

ISRAEL is a name by which God calls HIS PEOPLE, not a country!

Genesis 35:9–13

“Now that Jacob had returned from Paddan-aram, God appeared to him again at Bethel. God blessed him, saying, “Your name is Jacob, but you will not be called Jacob any longer. From now on YOUR NAME WILL BE ISRAEL.” So God renamed him Israel.

Then God said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’ Be fruitful and multiply. YOU WILL BECOME A GREAT NATION, EVEN MANY NATIONS. Kings will be among your descendants! And I will give you the land I once gave to Abraham and Isaac. Yes, I will give it to you and your descendants after you.” Then God went up from the place where he had spoken to Jacob.”

Their "promised land" is NOT ON THIS EARTH!

  • Hebrews 11:13-16 “All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They DID NOT receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth. Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own. If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back. But they were looking for a better place, a HEAVENLY HOMELAND. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for HE HAS PREPARED A CITY FOR THEM."

  • John 18:36 “Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is NOT an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is NOT of this world.”

  • 1 John 2:15-17 “Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.”

FOREIGNERS are the Gentiles who have not committed themselves to the Lord yet. This means Jacob was also a Gentile until God renamed him Israel. Esau, a blood descendant of Isaac and a twin brother of Jacob, was rejected and never became Israel. He represents Edom. Therefore we cannot rely on blood relations. It's the commitment to the Lord by Faith that makes people "true Jews."

  • Romans 2:28-29 “For you are not a true Jew just because you were born of Jewish parents or because you have gone through the ceremony of circumcision. No, a true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law; rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.”

  • Colossians 2:11 “When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision—the cutting away of your sinful nature.”

  • Ephesians 2:11 “Don’t forget that you Gentiles used to be outsiders. You were called “uncircumcised heathens” by the Jews, who were proud of their circumcision, even though it affected only their bodies and not their hearts.”

  • Jeremiah 9:25-26 “A time is coming,” says the Lord, “when I will punish all those who are circumcised in body but not in spirit— the Egyptians, Edomites, Ammonites, Moabites, the people who live in the desert in remote places, and yes, even the people of Judah. And like all these pagan nations, the people of Israel also have uncircumcised hearts.”

It makes it clear that there are true Jews, and those who only call themselves "Jews."

  • Revelation 2:9 “I know about your suffering and your poverty—but you are rich! I know the blasphemy of those opposing you. They say they are Jews, but they are not, because their synagogue belongs to Satan.”

  • Revelation 3:9 “Look, I will force those who belong to Satan’s synagogue—those liars who say they are Jews but are not—to come and bow down at your feet. They will acknowledge that you are the ones I love.”

  • Romans 8:19 “For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.”

  • It wouldn't be said if it was this obvious to the eye.

Romans 2:6-11

“He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.”

Isaiah 56:1–8

“This is what the Lord says:

“BE JUST AND FAIR TO ALL. Do what is right and good, for I am coming soon to rescue you and to display my righteousness among you. Blessed are all those who are careful to do this. Blessed are those who honor my Sabbath days of rest and keep themselves from doing wrong.

“Don’t let foreigners who commit themselves to the Lord say, ‘The Lord will never let me be part of his people.’ And don’t let the eunuchs say, ‘I’m a dried-up tree with no children and no future.’

For this is what the Lord says: I will bless those eunuchs who keep my Sabbath days holy and WHO CHOOSE TO DO WHAT PLEASES ME and COMMIT THEIR LIVES TO ME. I will give them—within the walls of my house—a memorial and a name far greater than sons and daughters could give. For the name I give them is an everlasting one. It will never disappear!

“I will also bless the foreigners who commit themselves to the Lord, WHO SERVE HIM AND LOVE HIS NAME, who worship him and do not desecrate the Sabbath day of rest, and who hold fast to my covenant. I will bring them to my holy mountain of Jerusalem and will fill them with joy in my house of prayer. I will accept their burnt offerings and sacrifices, because my Temple will be called a house of prayer for ALL NATIONS. For the Sovereign Lord, who brings back the outcasts of Israel, says: I will bring others, too, besides MY PEOPLE ISRAEL.”

GOD WILL RE-ESTABLISH HIS PEOPLE ON NEW EARTH!

This has not happened yet

  • People were not supposed to do it by their own human power, force, and violence. It will happen in a supernatural way by the Power of God!

  • Psalm 44:3 “They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them.”

Genesis 27:28-29

“From the dew of heaven and the richness of the earth, may God always give you abundant harvests of grain and bountiful NEW WINE. May many nations become your servants, and may they bow down to you. May you be the master over your brothers, and may your mother’s sons bow down to you. All who curse you will be cursed, and all who bless you will be blessed.”

  • Matthew 9:17 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. NEW WINE is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.”

  • 2 Peter 3:11-13 “Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames. But we are looking forward to the NEW HEAVENS and NEW EARTH HE HAS PROMISED, a world filled with God’s righteousness.”

Isaiah 62

“Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch. The nations will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory. AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN A NEW NAME BY THE LORD’S OWN MOUTH. The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see— a splendid crown in the hand of God.

Never again will you be called “The Forsaken City” or “The Desolate Land.”

  • Why the new name? Because the current name is being misrepresented!

  • Isaiah 65:15 “Your name will be a curse word among my people, for the Sovereign Lord will destroy you and will call HIS TRUE SERVANTS by ANOTHER NAME.”

YOUR NEW NAME will be “THE CITY OF GOD’S DELIGHT” and “THE BRIDE OF GOD,” for the Lord delights in you and will claim you as his bride. Your children will commit themselves to you, O Jerusalem, just as a young man commits himself to his bride. Then God will rejoice over you as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride. O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord. Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth. The Lord has sworn to Jerusalem by his own strength: “I will never again hand you over to your enemies. Never again will foreign warriors come and take away your grain and new wine. You raised the grain, and you will eat it, praising the Lord. Within the courtyards of the Temple, you yourselves will drink the wine you have pressed.”

Go out through the gates! Prepare the highway for my people to return! Smooth out the road; pull out the boulders; raise a flag for all the nations to see. The Lord has sent this message to every land: “Tell the people of Israel, ‘Look, your Savior is coming. See, he brings his reward with him as he comes.’” They will be called “THE HOLY PEOPLE” and “THE PEOPLE REDEEMED BY THE LORD.” And Jerusalem will be known as “The Desirable Place” and “The City No Longer Forsaken.”

2 Corinthians 1:22

“It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as THE FIRST INSTALLMENT that guarantees everything he has promised us.”

Revelation 20:4–5

“Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

This is THE FIRST RESURRECTION. The rest of the dead did not come back to life UNTIL the thousand years had ended.”
